I'm an educator and entrepreneur passionate about reimagining and improving the experience of school, grades, data, and feedback for students, families, teachers, and leaders. I provide PD for in-service teachers as well as develop web-based tools that align with mastery learning. Our current tool is MasteryPortfolio.com, an online mastery-based gradebook, curriculum design tool, and messaging app built for teachers, by teachers.MasteryPortfolio.com is designed to be the tool on the ground and in classrooms that helps schools populate a Mastery Transcript, and it is also designed to help teachers achieve authentic assessment practices while in distance or hybrid learning. My co-founders and I collectively have nearly 30 years of classroom experience K-12 in public district, charter, and independent schools. In my school-based role, I currently serve as Mathematics Department Chair for Columbus School for Girls.
